One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Pitcher, attributed to Richard C. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1875, ovoid-bellied pitcher with rounded foot, decorated with a brushed cobalt leaf design around the midsection and swags flanking the spout. Restoration to rim, spout, and base. Restoration to crack extending from rim down left side of pitcher, with some touch-up to a cobalt leaf there. H 10 1/2".
