Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, Philadelphia, PA origin, circa 1840, cylindrical jar with heavily-tooled shoulder and semi-rounded rim, decorated completely around with flowers and leaves extending from a stem. 3 1/2" hairline on underside, continuing 1 3/8" up base of jar. 2 3/4" hairline from rim. H 10 5/8".
