Ovoid Stoneware Jug, Stamped "PAUL : CUSHMAN," Albany, NY, circa 1810, ovoid jug with narrow spout, tooled shoulder, and applied ribbed handle, coggled with the maker's mark of pottery owner "PAUL : CUSHMAN" in large capital letters. Cobalt brushed over maker's mark and at handle terminals. Heavy chipping to base. 7/8" stone ping on reverse filled with glue-like substance. 2" line on reverse. Stone pings to surface. Glazed-over spout chip. H 13".
