Two Pieces of Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware, Mid-Atlantic origin, circa 1875, a cylindrical one-gallon jar with spattered cobalt drips and cobalt leaf decoration, attributed to Richard C. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA; paired with a five-gallon cylindrical crock cobalt floral decoration on one side and a "5" on reverse. Unsigned Remmey jar with 1" base chip, rim chips, and some hairlines in surface. Five-gallon crock with rim chips, a few small base chips, and a 6 3/4" Y-shaped crack from rim. H (of Remmey jar) 11 3/8".
