Two-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Swag Decoration, Stamped "P. HERRMANN," Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1880, cylindrical jar with rounded shoulder and squared rim, decorated around the shoulder with three groups of swags. Y-shaped crack on underside, extending onto base, including a small sliver of clay out of surface. Two minor chips and a stone ping to rim. H 12".
