Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Pitcher, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1880, approximately three-quart pitcher with ovoid body and flaring collar, decorated with a brushed cobalt two-stemmed clover motif. Brushed cobalt stripe flanking the spout. Unusual size. Horizontal hairline in handle. In-the-firing crazing on underside and body. Base chip. 1 3/8" x 1" flake off underside. Two spout chips. 1 3/4" hairline to left of spout. H 9 1/2".
