Rare One-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Bold Slip-Trailed Cobalt Daisy Decoration, attributed to William Morgan, Baltimore, MD, circa 1820, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder, semi-squared rim, and applied tab handles, decorated on both sides with a vivid slip-trailed cobalt daisy flanked by leaves. Exceptional color with outstanding contrast. Broken into pieces and reglued tightly back together. 1 1/2� rim chip. H 9 3/4�.
