Rare Albany Slip Glazed Stoneware Master Salt, Incised on Underside "M.C. / Erie, PA / 1876," bulbous vessel with crimped rim and heavily-tooled pedestal base, covered in a brown Albany slip glaze. The inscription "M.C. / Erie, Pa / 1876" is incised in script on the underside. Rim chips. Two small base chips. H 4 1/2".
