Rare Double-Handled Stoneware Spring Water Jug, Western PA origin, circa 1875, semi-ovoid jug with applied handles at the shoulder, stenciled in cobalt with the words "KA-TON-KA / NATURAL SPRING WATER / ABSOLUTELY PURE / CORRY PA." Freehand vining, a brushed "5," and flourishes above. Missing one handle. Two salt drips to shoulder on front. One salt drip to shoulder on reverse. Wear to surface. H 18 3/8".
