Redware Puzzle Mug, English, 19th century, ovoid form with pierced-work shoulder, decorated in yellow slip over a brown ground "Gentlemen now try your skill / Ill lay you six pence if you will / Drink out of this without a spill." Minor wear to a few applied spouts. Wear to two slip dots on top of rim. H 6".
