Rare Glazed Redware Pitcher with Copper Slip Decoration, New England or PA origin, circa 1850, ovoid pitcher with flared rim and applied handle with thumbrest, decorated with horizontal streaks of cream-colored slip and applied daubs of copper slip under a clear lead glaze. Excellent condition with a small glaze flake to spout and wear to thumbrest. H 7 1/2".
