Rare Yellowware Turtle Mold, second half 19th century, oval mold with recessed scalloped design on interior wall, the interior base with recessed design of a turtle with head protruding slightly from its shell. Numerous tiny to small chips to rim. 1 1/4" hairline from rim. 2 1/2" horizontal line in body on exterior, which does not extend through to interior. Small chips to base. Some light staining to exterior. Length 5 1/2".
