Glazed Redware Figure of a Seated Dog on Base, PA origin, circa 1850-1880, hand-modeled figure of a dog with incised poodle-cut fur and detailed face, seated on an oval base having an impressed floral design at the center and large impressed circles lining the border. Surface covered in a lead glaze. Attractive and unusual yellowish coloration. Figure, except for tail, is reglued to base. One front leg detached and reglued. Small chip to body behind one leg. A few large chips to one side. H 4" ; Length 4 3/4".
