Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Pitcher, Stamped "COWDEN & WILCOX," Harrisburg, PA origin, circa 1865, ovoid-waisted pitcher with tall, slightly-flared collar, decorated with a brushed cobalt tulip extending from a leafy stem. Excellent, as-made condition with an in-the-firing separation on underside of upper handle terminal, and a small stone ping to rim. H 8 1/4".
