Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Butter Crock, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1875, with squared rim and applied tab handles, decorated with four brushed cobalt clovers on each side. Includes 19th century Albany slip lid, not original to the crock. Vertical crack from rim, extending onto underside. Wide crack on underside. Glazed-over handle chip. Chips to rim. Chips to lid. H (excluding lid) 5 1/4" ; Diameter 9 1/2".
