Cobalt-Decorated German Stoneware Jug with Incised Decoration, Westerwald origin, 19th century, with flattened sides and tall spout, decorated with an incised wavy line design. Shoulder decorated with incised looping line designs. Incised decoration surrounded by cobalt slip. Spout, handle, and base decorated with cobalt stripes. Base area further embellished with incised combing. Mint condition. H 9 1/2".
