Two-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jug, Stamped "C.E. PHARIS & CO, / GEDDES. N.Y.," circa 1864-1867, semi-ovoid jug with tooled spout, decorated with brushed and slip-trailed cobalt design of a flower with dotted blossom beside a slip-trailed "2" underscored by a looping line. Spout chips. Approximately 2 3/4" line on shoulder. H 13".
