Miniature Stoneware Potty with Lid, attributed to Anna Pottery, Anna, IL, circa 1880, salt-glazed miniature potty with ovoid body, flattened rim, and applied strap handle, incised "fine fence Corner perfume." Interior with melted glass and applied clay representing human waste. Includes Albany slip glazed lid, possibly original to the piece. Potty has roughness to surface, white residue on interior and a small base chip. Lid has in-the-firing contact marks to top surface and an in-the-firing separation to surface, which extends partway through to underside. H (of potty including lid) 2 5/8".
