Price Realized: $805.00 ($700 hammer, plus 15% buyer's premium).
Scarce Four-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Date "1860" within a Wreath, Stamped "FORT EDWARD / POTTERY CO," straight-sided crock with tooled shoulder and applied lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed cobalt wreath accented with dots and surrounding the date 1860. Small chips to one handle and a few very short, in-the-firing lines to same handle. A few chips to opposite handle. Chips to interior of rim. H 11 1/8".
