Small-Sized Stoneware Jug with Brown-Dipped Top, Midwestern or possibly TN origin, third quarter 19th century, ovoid, salt-glazed jug with rounded spout and applied strap handle, the spout and upper handle dipped in a reddish-brown Albany slip or rust glaze. Mint condition with traces of old gold paint on top of spout. H 6".
