Glazed Reclining Stoneware Spaniel with Albany Slip Glaze, probably Jane Lew, WV, circa 1865, molded reclining spaniel on rectangular base, covered in a glossy brown glaze. Hollow underside reveals tannish-gray clay. In-the-firing wrinkles in clay. Several small chips to base. H 6" ; Length 8 1/2".
