Three-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Crock, probably Palatine, WV origin, circa 1875, straight-sided crock with rounded rim and applied lug handles, decorated with brushed cobalt vertical and horizontal stripes surrounding the number "3". V-shaped crack on underside, extending onto base area of crock. Handle chips. H 10 3/4".
