Cobalt-Stenciled Stoneware "MACCOBOY" Jar, Western PA origin, circa 1875, cylindrical jar with rounded shoulder and rim, stenciled with the word "MACCOBOY" surrounded by stenciled floral designs. Faint 1" hairline at base, continuing 7/8" onto underside. Additional lines on underside. 3" vertical crack from rim. Wear to interior of jar where a lid would rest. H 9 3/4".
