Two-Gallon Stoneware Jar, Stenciled "J.M. HARDEN / Palatine, WV," circa 1875, straight-sided jar with rounded shoulder and semi-rounded rim, decorated with the stenciled name "J.M. HARDEN," surrounded by various stenciled flourishes, above the location "Palatine, WV" and a stenciled "2". Some areas of wear to salt glaze on surface. H 11 7/8".
