Small-Sized Redware Jug with Lead Glaze, New England origin, probably Maine, early 19th century, ovoid jug with flared foot, semi-rounded spout, and ribbed strap handle, covered in a lead glaze with greenish coloration over a finely-speckled reddish ground. Excellent color. Chips and wear to spout. Shallow base chips on reverse. H 5 1/4".
