Small Redware Jug with Brightly Colored Glaze, New England origin, early to mid 19th century, highly ovoid jug with rounded foot and applied strap handle, covered in a heavy greenish-yellow glaze having yellowish-orange spots and streaked iron flecks. Exceptional color. Near mint condition with a few minor spots of glaze loss to spout. H 6 1/4".
