Miniature Glazed Redware Jug, probably New England origin, early to mid 19th century, highly ovoid jug with tooled foot, heavily-ribbed strap handle, and unusually short spout, covered in a lead glaze. Attractive yellowish coloration with green mottling. In-the-firing separations in glaze revealing underlying clay. Small chip to interior of spout. Wear to spout and handle. H 2 3/4".
