Four-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Bird on Stump Decoration, Stamped "OTTMAN BRO'S / & CO.. / FORT EDWARD, N.Y.," circa 1875, straight-sided crock with tooled shoulder and applied lug handles, decorated with a large cobalt bird perched on a tree stump. Excellent condition with a faint 1 3/4" hairline in rim, which is not visible on interior, and a Y-shaped hairline on underside, which does not go through to interior. H 11 1/2".
