Early Stoneware Jug with Stylized Cobalt Flower Head Decoration, New York or New England origin, circa 1830, tall, ovoid jug decorated with large stylized cobalt design resembling a four-petaled flowerhead. Jug measures two to three gallons. Loss and long shallow chip to spout. Glazed-over stone ping on reverse of jug near base. H 16 1/2".
