Ovoid Stoneware Jug with Incised Floral Decoration, Northeastern U.S. origin, late 18th or early 19th century, highly ovoid jug with tooled spout and ribbed handle, decorated with an incised hanging flower design with hollow-centered leaves. 2 3/4" and 6 3/4" hairlines on back of jug. 6 3/4" line is flanked by restoration. 2 3/4" vertical hairline from base on front. Restoration to crack(?) on reverse at base. Stone ping on reverse. H 13 3/4".
