Four-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Crock, Stamped "C. HART & SON / SHERBURNE, NY," circa 1875, straight-sided crock with rounded rim and applied lug handles, decorated with a brushed cobalt floral design with bending flower and dashed stem. Some scattered flaking near base on reverse. 8 1/4" diagonal line from rim on reverse, which does not go through to interior. Handle chip. Two stone pings on interior base. H 12".
