Two-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jug, Stamped "J. NORTON & CO. / BENNINGTON, VT.," circa 1850, semi-ovoid jug with squared rim and applied handle, decorated with a stylized slip-trailed cobalt floral design. Significant restoration to front, underside and reverse, including some of decoration. H 13 1/2".
