Two-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Crock, Stamped "E. &. L. P. NORTON / BENNINGTON, VT.," circa 1870, straight-sided crock with flattened rim and applied lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed cobalt leaf design. Three base chips. Small chips to one handle and a small chip to opposite handle. H 8 1/2".
