One-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Bird Decoration, Stamped "J. & E. NORTON / BENNINGTON, VT.," circa 1855, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a crested bird perched on a tree branch. 2" worn spot right side of jug. Small nick to opening in spout. H 11 3/8".
