Six-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Double Bird Decoration, Stamped "S. HART / FULTON," New York State origin, circa 1860, straight-sided crock with tooled shoulder, rounded rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with crossed slip-trailed birds with cobalt-filled wings with dotted outlines. Slip-trailed "6" with a flourish underneath to the left. Significant restoration to cracks in surface, touching some of decoration. H 12 3/4".
