Unusual Half-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Squat Form, Stamped "B.C. MILBURN," Alexandria, VA origin, circa 1850, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder and semi-squared, covered in a salt glaze. Impressed with B.C. Milburn maker's mark and half-gallon capacity mark below rim. Interesting form. A few minor base chips. H 6 1/2".
