Rare Salt-Glazed Stoneware Bottle with Cobalt and Iron Slip Decoration, Stamped "TIFFANY & ALLEN / PATERSON, N.J.," Northeastern U.S. origin, circa 1875, straight-sided bottle with tapered neck and blob top, decorated with iron glaze around the shoulder and cobalt around the spout. Two circular indented spots below the spout are designed to hold a metal brace for a stopper. Rare two-color slip decoration. Mint condition. H 10 3/4".
