Two-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jug, Stamped "ADAM GREEN / NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ," circa 1875, straight-sided jug with rounded shoulder, tall spout, and applied handle, decorated with a slip-trailed cobalt leaf design accented with cobalt dots. Two connected base chips, measuring 2 3/4". Spout chips. A few small stone pings. In-the-firing touch mark with small piece of kiln furniture on reverse. H 14 1/4".
