Four-Gallon Stoneware with Stenciled Cobalt Decoration, Stenciled "A.P. Donaghho, / Parkersburg, W.V.," circa 1880, cylindrical churn with rounded shoulder and ribbed handles, decorated with three bands of stenciled geometric designs across the front, and A.P. Donaghho maker's stenciling at the base. Includes Albany slip glazed lid, probably not original to the piece. Excellent condition with a faint hairline on underside and a chip on edge of underside. H (including lid) 17 1/2".
