Glazed Redware Jug, probably New England origin, early to mid 19th century, ovoid jug with ribbed strap handle and rounded foot and spout, decorated with streaks of manganese and covered in a clear lead glaze. Hole in underside and unglazed in-the-firing contact mark on top of spout. H 10 3/4".
