Exceptional Small-Sized Redware Jar with Green Copper Glaze, Bristol Co., Mass. origin, late 18th or early 19th century, small-sized ovoid jar with rounded foot, open strap handles, and incised banding around shoulder. Surface covered in a vibrant green lead and copper glaze. Interior covered in a clear lead glaze. Outstanding color, form, and size. Excellent condition with a small chip and some glaze wear to one handle and a few tiny glaze nicks to rim. H 5 1/2".
