Ovoid Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Dot Decoration, Northeastern U.S. origin, circa 1830, ovoid jar with applied lug handles and tooled foot and shoulder, decorated on one side with a large cobalt dot, and on the reverse with a cobalt dash. Rim chips Base chips. Lines extending partway up sides of jar from base.Faint line in rim, which do not go through to interior. Some staining. H 9".
