We are all looking forward to our Fall 2010 auction!Ovoid Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Dot Decoration, Northeastern U.S. origin, circa 1830, ovoid jar with applied lug handles and tooled foot and shoulder, decorated on one side with a large cobalt dot, and on the reverse with a cobalt dash. Rim chips Base chips. Lines extending partway up sides of jar from base.Faint line in rim, which do not go through to interior. Some staining. H 9".
