Rare Two-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Bold Cobalt Zig-Zag Stripe Decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1825, thin-walled, ovoid pitcher with tooled rim, decorated with a highly unusual zig-zagging cobalt stripe or drape decoration. Rim decorated with a heavy band of cobalt. Desirable size and striking decoration. Repair to rim, spout, and base. Horizontal crack in handle. H 13".
