Half-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Pitcher, attributed to the Remmey Pottery, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1865, ovoid pitcher with tooled foot and collar, decorated with a two-stemmed flowering plant design extending up the front and flanking cobalt swags. Collar decorated with four groups of cobalt swags. Desirable size. 1 3/4" spider line on front, which occurred in the making. Two small rim chips near handle. Small kiln adhesion on handle. H 7 1/4".
