Extremely Rare Painted Woman Face Jug, North Wilkesboro, NC, origin, circa 1925, molded face jug in the form of a black woman"s head with wide spout and metal bail handle. Painted surface with particular detail to the eyes. One of fifteen jugs made by a Mr. Nelson in North Wilkesboro, NC, in the 1920"s and discovered in the 1990"s. Mint condition. H 12 5/8".
