Outstanding Six-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Elaborate Flowering Urn Decoration, New York State origin, circa 1875, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a wire urn with flared base, brimming with leaves and a series of stylized flowerheads at the center. Urn situated on a stylized patch of ground. Excellent color and bold design. One chip on exterior of rim. Two chips on interior of rim. A few tiny surface flakes. H 13 1/2".
