Rare Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Bank, attributed to Richard C. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1860, beehive form with circular finial and carved slot at shoulder, cobalt-decorated around with four stylized leaves, a large leaf over the coin slot, and brushed cobalt finial. Made at one of America"s most well-known and admired potteries. Minor slot wear. Height to finial 4 3/4".
