Large Glazed Redware Cabin Bank, probably Pennsylvania area, 19th century, hand-modeled log cabin bank on base with tile roof, chimney, door, and window. A white-glazed bird is seated atop the roof by the chimney. Crudely-modeled person is seated on the doorstep. Slot in side of cabin. Minor wear. Height to chimney 6 1/4". Provenance: Christie"s Sale for The Seamen"s Bank for Savings, March 13, 1991, Lot # 156. Ex-Collection Bill Bertoia.
