The next installment of our popular Maryland Sale will be part of a three-session auction held on May 4, 2013 at our gallery in Sparks, Maryland. Lead off with a session of Maryland antiques, our May auction will also include a session of fine textiles (quilts, samplers, etc.) and a session of general American antiques.

Auction Time

The auction will take place on Saturday, May 4, at 10am (eastern time). Doors open at 8am.

An auction preview, during which you can view and handle all 500+ lots in the auction, will be held on Friday, May 3, from 10am to 6pm, and from 8am to 10am the morning of the auction.

Catalog

Both our well-known print catalog (regarded as one of the best the field has to offer) and our online catalog are available around two weeks before the auction.

We offer several different bidding methods to make our auction as accessible as possible. Besides attending the auction at our gallery in Maryland, bidders participate from all over the country via absentee bidding, phone bidding, internet bidding (before the auction), and live internet bidding (during the auction).

Our gallery is conveniently located just a few minutes off of Interstate 83 in northern Baltimore County, Maryland, about twenty minutes north of Baltimore and thirty minutes south of York, Pennsylvania. We are situated less than an hour and a half outside of Washington, D.C., and less than two hours from Philadelphia.

We are also conveniently located to some of the area’s best hotels in nearby Hunt Valley, Maryland, less than ten minutes from our gallery. Both Hunt Valley and Shrewsbury, Pennsylvania, (about twenty minutes away) are great options if you are looking for overnight accommodations. Both towns also offer several good restaurant options.
