Hand-Colored Civil War Ambrotype of South Carolina Confederate Soldier, Alonzo Whitridge, circa 1861-1865, depicting Alonzo Whitridge with hand-colored uniform and face, the uniform featuring red collar and cuffs, gold buttons, and sleeves with fancy yellow embroidery. Ambrotype case features a raised bird and grapes design. Some spotting to image. Lid of case loose. Dimensions (of case): 4" x 3 1/4".
